Country-style ribs, orange and sriracha. Rib heaven! Adapted from a Doubleday cookbook family favorite, I’ve brightened up the flavor profile. We love the sweet heat and meatiness of these ribs. No grill needed!

Honey Sriracha Spareribs

So little work, such delicious rewards! Spicy, a little sweet porky goodness.

ingredients:

  • 2 lbs country-style pork spareribs
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 medium oranges juiced and zested
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tbs sriracha sauce
  • 2 tbs honey

instructions:

How to cook Honey Sriracha Spareribs

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Place spareribs on sheet pan and season with salt and pepper. Bake for 45 minutes. Meanwhile Mix together the remaining ingredients and set aside.
  2. Shut off the oven and pour the sauce over the spareribs. Return the spareribs to the oven and allow to marinate for 3 hours. At this point you can wrap the ribs in foil and when cooled to room temperature, store in the refrigerator until you’re ready for the final baking.
  3. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Bake uncovered for 1 ½ hours, basting occasionally. Serve and enjoy!
